Election Day is Closer Than You Think

Washington, DC – Sekou Biddle, At-Large DC Council candidate in the April 3 election, will be the fourth name on the ballot.  Today, the DC Board of Elections and Ethics held their ballot position lottery to determine the order that names will appear on the ballot for the At-Large race in the April 3 Democratic Primary. This is the first year that the primary election will be held in the spring in order to accommodate federal absentee ballot requirements.

“After years of voting in September primaries residents need remember that this election is rapidly approaching with fewer than eight weeks until the April 3 election day,” said Biddle. “For too long the Council has served themselves instead of the residents who elected them. I am committed to providing the ethical and responsive leadership that has been missing from our Council for too long. I ask residents to join my campaign and on April 3 in vote for the leadership we deserve in the District.”
